Little Sayings

We all have heard or used this little sayings at one time or another.

1. Sticks and stone may brake your bones but words will never hurt you. That is just half true sticks and stone may brake your bones. But words can do more damage to a person for a longer time than it takes for a bone to heal.
2. What I am saying shouldn't hurt its just the truth. Well sometime you can use just the truth to beat someone up in a way that a lie could never do.
3. It's not gossip when it is true. Yes it is if you are repeating it to hurt or make the other person look bad.

I just find it amazed that we are to be the intelligent ones on this earth and we seem to the ones that are able to rip each other apart on a day bases. For any number of reason - you are skinny/fat - you have a different color of skin - you believe in a different God - I don't like what you write/say - you come from a different place in life. Why is harder to find the good in someone than the bad? Why do we highlight the bad and want to ignore the good in other people? If we would just stop and look we could find the good in even the worst person on this earth. Here's to hoping that you can find the good in the next person you meet on the street today or just the ones you are around on a daily bases! Smile and have a great day!

Little Whip
When I'm suffering from a bad bout of low self esteem, I tune in to the Jerry Springer show. I can watch these jamokes and say to myself..."I may have some serious issues, but at least I'm not as bad as these people!"

That is very true! He! He!
